It all started with a simple swipe right. I know I know cheesy but it's true! From hanging out, to Brandon finally asking me to be his girlfriend, to three years of dating, a year and a half engagement to MARRIED. It wasn't all butterflies and rainbows though.

Brandon and I met back in January 2021 on a dating app that honestly neither of us had hopes of finding someone on but come on what else can you do when your in quarantine for almost a whole at this point. We matched on said dating app and he let me set there with an unread message for TWO months. Finally he replied and said "add my snap and ye your pretty". Added his Snapchat and the first snap I get is his forehead. I replied with "Wow what a lovely forehead" taking a picture of my forehead. He said "ye and I'd like to see more then just your forehead"

We didn't really talk much for a few months, other then the casual "hey, how are you" "happy birthday" "we should hangout some time". My 19th birthday came around and I posted my new tattoo on my story. All of a sudden I got a message from Brandon. I opened the message and it said "that a dope tattoo", then goes on to say "have any more I'd love to get one some day". We started talking that night, started face timing literally the night after. Finally we were both ready to meet each other only 5 days later, I know I know it was fast, hey when you click with someone it feels like forever. I sent him my address at the time, I had just gotten off work, and I get a call saying "are you sure that's the right address? cause it brought me to my sister's house", it's been history ever since.

Unfortunately only 5 months after we started dating Brandon's dad passed away after a long battle with COPD. 4 short months after that my grandma passed away. We had only been together for 9 months at this point, and we learned so much about each other going through those really hard times together. Fast forward to February 2023. Brandon and I decided to look for a house that we could call OUR own. We found our house after 3 long months of searching, and we moved in just a few days after Brandon's 21st birthday. Fast forward a year and a month.

I go out on our anniversary with Brandon's mom for a fun girls day. Brandon had to work so we planned on going out for dinner after he got off or so I thought. Brandon's mom and I went shopping, got hair cuts and just hung out. Finally got back around 11. We walked in the house like normal except, Brandon and I's dog didn't come running to the door which was very odd. So I decided to go look for him, I rounded the corner of our living and Brandon is down on one knee, holding our dog. Our dog had a bib on that said "will you marry me" I was SHOCKED!! I thought he was joking not going to lie. He even got me my favorite flowers. I was so shocked that I didn't even give him an answer right away, he said "well will you marry me?" Of course I said YES!! That's the whole reason you're here!

Our story may not have been the normal love story but its OUR love story and that's what makes it oh so special!!
